Thursday 8 August will be a run through Liskeard but with a twist! Ever wondered what urban orienteering was about? Ever said “I can’t navigate for toffee? Well let’s face it, you’re not going to get too lost in Liskeard are you? We have engaged an experienced orienteer to put on a couple of courses/races during the evening.

Plus there will be a 30-minute briefing/explanation beforehand so you can have a fun time running around. If you’re still not that confident of your ability to navigate through Liskeard then it’s quite ok to run as a pair. We will be meeting at the Fat Frog in Market Street at 6:15 for the briefing with the aim to start from 7:00pm onwards. There will be a two courses for you to choose: one of 3.6k and one of 2.4k – what could possibly go wrong! It would be useful to have numbers so we know how many maps to print.

Please let Oli or Lucy know if you will be attending.

Would be good to have a massive club turnout for something a bit different and here’s your chance to find out a bit more about this sport rather than what you remember from school! Come along and have a go at a different type of race where you don’t have to worry about being able to run! The Fat Frog is opening especially for us and will be serving drinks and snacks.
